Flip flops are at the very height of the summer fashion right now, since they are comfortable, affordable, and cute. So many people better like to wear it. For those of us that take our flip flops to the extremes in wear and tear, however, they can also be easy damaged. Here are some quick and simple ways to make your flip flops shine like the day they were bought, and stay intact as well.

Get a sponge and get the mud off, if there’s mud in it. If it’s hard to get off, put on some gloves, and something to help you get the mud off like a thin towel or napkin. Put your shoes back on and wear them around the house or out and about with the damp moleskin on your feet.
Get some shoe shine and cover scratches up, if there are scratches. They work like a charm if you get the right one! Try out different shines to see which you like best.
Turn on the washing machine on a low (zero) temperature, a little soap and a quick program, with no spin. But be careful.
Take an old toothbrush, or a new one that’s only worth very little. First wet the toothbrush, then scrub the toothbrush on a bar of soap, lastly start scrubbing away on your shoes. This works best on fuzzy shoes. It softens the leather and also stretches them slightly.
You can take a water hose and spray the shoes to get most of the dirt off!
If this does not work you can get a towel and put hot water on it and scrub of the rest.
